Panorama

Proposal
For my first project I decided to shoot on Willis street. Being one of the busiest  streets in Wellington during the day, it attracts me by its inscrutability and solitude at nighttime. I want to show Willis street from absolutely different point of view and present it as a lonely, a little bit mysterious place, that has an atmosphere of urban  romantic. Through my pictures I am trying to convey its soul that awakens when everyone else falls asleep. I am planning to shoot mostly at twilight, during night and in early morning. I have also done some experimenting in a golden hour, which turned out to be successful. I am also trying to shoot in different weather conditions and I found it really interesting to shoot while its raining as wet surfaces give interesting reflections and unusual effects. At night, becoming an empty street with just a couple of people around Willis looks absolutely different and amazing. For me it becomes a place where you can fell free and calm. Where you can come to think and dream. The uniqueness of Willis street lies in the fact that it combines architectural monuments of the past and modern buildings of the present. It represents different time and different people and my aim is to capture it's soul with my camera.
